compute.inc

Free transit for good networks.

We sponsor non-profits, research and education networks, community networks and projects we like with BGP sessions, IP transit, address space and compute. No invoice.

What we give

BGP sessions
IPv4 and IPv6, full table or default. Filtered on IRR and RPKI.
IP transit
At any of our sites, or across Kent IX.
Address space
IPv4 and IPv6 assignments if you don't have your own yet.
Registry sponsorship
Your own ASN and resources. We're a RIPE NCC LIR and full members of ARIN and APNIC.
Compute
VMs by default. Dedicated servers and colocation when the project needs them.
Kent IX
Membership in Kent or London, plus a VM in Kent to peer from if you want one.

Who we sponsor

Non-profits, research and education, student societies, community networks, open-source infrastructure, and hobby networks with a real project behind them.

If you plan to resell it, it isn't for you. Most networks reach us through MoeDove (AS44324) or an education partner, but you can apply directly.

Conditions

  • Keep your objects in order. RIR and IRR objects, an as-set we can filter on, and ROAs for what you announce.
  • Keep PeeringDB current and an abuse contact that answers.
  • Don't resell it. Passing it on to your own non-profit users is fine.
  • Peer openly if you join Kent IX.
  • Tell us when things change, including when the project winds down.
  • It's best-effort. We can end it with notice, and immediately for abuse.
